Haven't been around for a while.....lots of news!

I haven't been around for a little while. My family caught the nasty cold and flu bug that is going around here so for the last week we all have been sick and trying to recoup.

I have been listing in my Etsy shop though. New earrings and pendants are in my shop and even a couple of necklace/earring sets.

This week I have also been featured on Polymer Clay Productions website! Please check it out!

Been in a slump....

Wow, it has been a little while since I posted on here. Been kinda in a slump lately. I am really starting to want spring to be here. It doesn't help that the whole house has been sick lately though either. This time of year is famous for the dreaded cold......I think everyone I know is sick with the cold or flu!

I have been managing to get some work done though and have listed some new pendants in my Etsy shop. I have also listed my first couple of sets of earrings and necklaces. Come on in and check them out!

I have other hobbies besides clay!

I just wanted to let any of my readers know that I do have other hobbies besides clay. I love to knit and crochet too. I have recently become enthralled with felting. This is the process of taking wool and washing it in super hot water so that it shrinks and becomes a dense fabric called felt.

I have recently listed a few of my felted items in my Etsy shop.

This handbag is one item for example. It is also lined with a satin material and fastens with a magnetic clasp.

Easter is on its way!

I have finally had time to get claying again.....yipee....its been a little while. I decided to tackle the PCGOE challenge for April which is entitled "clay covered eggs". I have never covered an egg before in my life so thought it would be fun.

The whole chicken egg thing is just too stressful for me. The blowing out of the egg, waiting for it to dry out after its been cleaned and such was just too much for me so I decided to try wooden eggs. I must say I absolutely love it! Being able to press on it as much as I want and not hear the dreaded "pop" is wonderful. My eggs also are flat on the bottom so they stand which is great for ornamental purposes I think.

So here are my completed eggs.....I am quite proud if I do say so myself!
